Kindergarten Reading

This page includes kindergarten worksheets related to reading, vocabulary, and grammar. These worksheets are great for classroom or home use, and you may print as many as you like.

Kindergarten preparedness may include recognizing and reciting the alphabet, using and understanding interrogatives (who, what, where, when, why), speak using complete sentences, and tell or retell a story. The kindergarten child will recognize that printed words are separated by spaces and that the spoken word is represented by a specific sequence of letters in print.

It is our hope that the worksheets here will be an extension to the learning that is currently taking place in kindergarten. These kindergarten worksheets are intended to enhance your child's skills and introduce new concepts in a fun, stress-free manner.
